Introduction #
Welcome to the CGI Cloud Berlin. This documentation will guide you through the services, how to set up and use them.
The cloud services are actually declared as **preview**. That means that some features may not working properly. We will fix all occurring issues as soon as possible.
General information #
All services are build as highly available and durable. We are leveraging the AWS cloud platform as foundation. All services are distributed at least over three datacenters. We have automatic fail-over and recovery in place for possible datacenter outages. All data is only stored in Germany (Frankfurt to be precise).
Everything is built with great user experience and security in mind. We use architecture best practices throughout all services.
We have currently backups of all data for at least 90 days stored at least six times redundant. Even if some data would be deleted by human mistake, we would be able to recover within that time window.
Available services #
Currently, Gitlab is the first and only service available. Expect more things to come.

Gitlab covers the whole lifecycle of DevOps tasks like planning, implementation, documentation, build and deployment.
